Rajkumar Santoshi directed movie ‘Andaz Apna Apna‘ was released under the banner of Vinay Pictures on April 11th, 1994. The movie is full of comedy and action an dthe lead roles in the movie were played by Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon whereas the supporting roles were played by Paresh Rawal, Mehmood, Jagdeep, Deven Verma, Viju Khote, Shehzad Khan, Suresh Bhagwat, Javed Khan, Tiku Talsania, Shakti Kapoor etc. The movie was produced by Shanti Sinha and Vinay Kumar Sinha whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Asha Bhosle, Bheroze Chatterjee, Debasis Dasgupta, Sapna Mukherjee, Vicky Mehta, Sadhana Sargam, Sapna Mukherjee and Balasubramaniam S.P. The music of the movie was given by Tushar Bhatia and Viju Shah and the story, screenplay and dialogues were given by Rajkumar Santoshi. The movie was a big hit at the box office.

The movie is based on two guys who want to become rich without doing much toil. In the begining of the movie, Amar (Aamir Khan) lives a middle class lifestyle alongwith his father who is a barber. His father wants his son to become a barber like him. But Amar wants to become a rich person. On the other hand there is another guy named Prem Bhoplai (Salman Khan) who is also leading a middle class lifestyle along with his father named Bankeylal Bhopali (Jagdeep) who is a tailor. Later one day they come to know that a rich and young woman named Raveena (Raveena Tandon) is looking for siutable groom. Therefore both of them try their luck and move to her house. Both of them meet with each other on the way and realises that both have the same aim. Later they play every possible trick to cut off the way of each other but in vain. There ensues a fight between them to impress Raveena.

On reaching there, they meet with Raveena and Karishma (Karisma Kapoor) who is her secretary. Both of the guys do not know that both the ladies have changed their places to find the real life partner who can love her whole life. Both Amar and Prem decide to abduct her father named Ram Gopal Bajaj (Paresh Rawal) and later rescuing him. But their plan goes wrong as his twin brother named Shyam Gopal Bajaj (Paresh Rawal) aka Teja also plans to abduct him. Now really have to rescue him and also comes to know the reality of Karishma and Raveena. Later then Crime Master Gogo (Shakti Kapoor) enters in the story. He entakes everyone hostage, including Raveena, Karishma, Ram Gopal Bajaj, Teja and his cronies Robert (Viju Khote) and Bhalla (Shehzad Khan). He wants to steal the diamonds which Ram Gopal Bajaj have.
