Rumi Jaffery directed movie ‘God Tussi Great Ho‘ was released under the banner of Big Pictures on August 15th, 2008. The movie was full of comedy, drama and romance and the lead roles in the movie were played by Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher, Been Kak and Amitabh Bachchan whereas the supporting starcasts were included Snehal Dabi, Puneet Issar, Satish Kaushik, Sohail Khan, Shashi Kiran, Anupam Maanav, Sanjay Mishra, Abbas Ali Moghul, Rajesh Puri, Upasna Singh, Dalip Tahil, Rajesh Vivek, Rajpal Yadav etc. The movie was produced by Afzal Khan and Shabina Khan whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Wajid Ali, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Amrita Kak, Shankar Mahadevan, Shantanu Mukherjee, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Neeraj Shridhar, Alka Yagnik. The superhit music of the movie was given by famous Sajid Ali and Wajid Ali. The story and the screenplay of the movie was written by Rumi Jaffery and Yunus Sajawal. The movie did a good work on the big screen.

The story of the movie is based on a person named Arun Prajapati (Salman Khan) who always blames God for all the mishappening happen in his life. Arun lives with a middle class family consisting of his father Mr. Prajapati (Anupam Kher), his mother Mrs. Prajapati (Beena Kak) and his simple looking sister Madhu (Rukhsar). Arun always tries to become a successful TV anchor but success always goes far away from him. He always blames to god for this. He is in love with an beautiful girl named, Alia (Priyanka Chopra), who is a successful TV anchor and well known as a star working in the same channel. He has been never express his love infront of her and again blames to God. Then his destiny plays a cruel game with him when Rocky (Sohail Khan) appointed as an anchor for the same channel.

Later, in the movie Arun starts believing on that Rocky has a better chance to take the love of Alia. And, he starts working on a plan by which Rocky has been thrown out of the office. In this process, the circumstances go out of the hand of arun and he is thrown out from the office. Suddenly, one day he meets with God (Amitabh Bachchan) and said to God that he is responsible for the disasters happens in the world. After, some argument God gives his power to Arun for ten days because he claims that he can do better job. When he becomes God, he becomes successful. He thrown out Rocky easily from his way and win’s Alia’s love. Days passes and in the process of giving wealth to everyone he just dismiss the whole balance of the world. Then, he give his power to god and understood that only God can handle this world easily and in a proper manner rather anyone else.
