Very famous comedy movie ‘Sandwich‘ was directed by a famous film director Anees Bazmee.The movie was released under the banner ofRahul Production on August 25th, 2006. The movie is full of comedy and mystery whereas the lead roles in the movie were played by Govinda, Raveena Tondon and Mahima Chaudhary whereas the supporting starcast includes Mohnish Bahl, Anang Desai, Shammi Kapoor, Mustaq Khan, Shashi Kiran, Kiran Kumar, Reema Lagoo, Anant Mahadevan, Shweta Menon, Sangita Naik, Satish Shah, Pushpa Verma, Rajendranath Zutshi etc. The movie was produced by Smita Thackeray whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Sandeep Chowta, Rajesh Gupta, Adesh Shrivastava and Sukhvinder Singh. The Story and the screenplay of the movie were rendered by Anees Bazmee.

The movie is about Sher Singh (Govinda) and his two wifes named Nisha (Ravina Tondon) and Sweety (Mahima Chaudhary). The movie begins with Sher Singh who lives in Punjab with his mother and handicapped sister but he comes to Mumbai for money with the changed name Shekhar (Govinda) and meets a beautiful girl Nisha (Ravina Tondon) and falls in love with her. Suddenly his mother called him back to Punjab and said that Zamindar’s son is ready to marriage with his handicapped sister.
He got surprised but understood all the situation when his mother told him that Zamindar’s daughter sweety loves him from their childhood days and wanted to marry with him. finally his sister got married with Zamindar’s son and even giving so many excuses to his mother he got married with sweety and stay at Punjab with his family for few days.

Later he comes back to Mumbai for work and got married incidently with Nisha but Nisha’s father was killed by a person who loves Nisha and wanted to marry with her. After the death of Nisha’s father the burden of the buisness comes on the Shekhar’s head then after few days one more problems comes in his life when his family comes to mumbai to live with him because he don’t want to tell his family about his second marriage. He started to manage his life as a Sher Singh and Shekhar. During the day he stays with Sweety as Sher Singh and at the night he stays with Nisha as a Shekhar then one day a person with the name of Shekhar comes in his life and claiming that he is Shekhar. Sher Singh trying to convince everybody that both Sher Singh and Shekhar is same and that is him but nobody wants to accept this then after the lots of con tricks he is able to come with truth and save himself and his family life with that person.
