Sangeeth Sivan directed superhit movie ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum‘ was released under the banner of Balaji Telefilms on May 6th, 2005. The movie is full of comedy and mystery and the lead roles in the movie were played by Ritesh Deshmukh, Tusshar Kapoor, Isha Koppikar and Neha Dhupia whereas the supporting roles were played by Anupam Kher, Shoma Anand, Razak Khan, Avtar Gill, Anil Nagrath, Rajpal Yadav, Bobby Darling, Rajendranath Zutshi, Rana Jung Bahadur, Sushmita Mukherjee etc. The movie was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala and Shantanu Mukherjee. The music of the movie was given by famous Franco Vaz and Anu Malik and the story, screenplay and dialogues were written by Pankaj Trivedi and Sachin Yardi. The movie is a great comedy and became hit at the box office.

The movie is based on some misunderstandings between cops and two innocent guys and later how they manage to get all set like before. In the begining of the movie, Karan Pandey (Ritesh Deshmukh) and Rahul (Tusshar Kapoor) are two best friends. They live together in a rented apartment and also work in the same office of fashion designers office. But they do not have enough money to pay their debts including rent and then they decide to make a passage through the window back of the apartment. This makes them easy way as the building is being renovated. Later Karan meets a beautiful woman named Kiran (Bobby Darling) and falls in love with her. Soon he finds out that she is the girlfriend of his boss named D.K. Bose (Rajendranath Zutshi) who lives in a bungalow in Malabar Hill and owns a Mercedes. Shortly his boss leaves to America for a business trip and then Rahul and Karan make their way to his house.

There Karan starts talking with Kiran on phone and begins his romance with her. Meanwhile, Rahul has been told by a street astrologer that soon he will meet with his soul-mate and he can identifies her after seeing a birthmark on her right breast. Therefore Rahul then meets with several girls having birthmark n the same place and therefore recover from several embarrassing incidents. What Rahul does not know that he has been observed by a psychiatrist named Dr. Screwwala (Anupam Kher) who thinks that he is a serial killer. Later he with the help of Police Commissioner (Avtar Gill) assigns this job to capture him to Inspector, Urmila Martodkar (Isha Koppikar). Here Karan does not knows that Kiran is not a woman but a gay man. Then he meets with Dr. Rekha (Neha Dhupia) and falls in love with her.
