Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan songs


Sikandar Khanna starred movie ‘Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan‘ was released in 1978. The movie is full of family drama and the lead roles in the movie were played by Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Moushumi Chatterjee whereas the supproting roles were played by Ashok Kumar, Amjad Khan, Asrani, Helen, Mukri, Paintal, Ranjeet, Shreeram Lagoo, Chandrashekhar, Leela Mishra, Shivraj, Asit Sen etc. The movie was produced by Surinder Kapoor whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Asha Bhosle, Manna Dey, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammad Rafi. The music of the movie was given by famous duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal.

The movie is based on the rectifying of a person who has fallen in every bad habbits. In the begining of the movie, an old aged man named Lala Ganpat Rai (Ashok Kumar) lives a very wealthy lifestyle in the city alongwith his grandson named Vishal Rai (Rishi Kapoor). He has several acres of land in his village where he has opened the farm. On the other hand his grandson, Vishal having so much of wealth and has fulfil his all desires, becomes a spoiled brat. He also starts taking alcohol and womanizing in a big way. Soon his grandfather comes to know about his bad habbits and as a result he instructs his lawyers to make it conditional that Vishal will not receive any money from his side or property from his estate unless he fulfills either of two conditions. The first condition is, he has to marry a woman of Rai’s choice and also has selected that woman named Shalini who will inherit half of the property.

The second condition is in order for Vishal to inherit all of the property he must re-locate to their farmhouse in a village. There he has to cultivate a piece of land and grow some crops on it within one year. After hearing these conditions, Vishal gets enraged at this and neither of the two conditions are acceptable to him. But soon he reconsiders this again and decides to fulfil the second condition. Later he alongwith half a dozen friends travel to the village. There they set a comfortable accomodation and later try to cultivate the land. But soon Vishal and his friends are accused of molesting and raping a village belle which leads to her suicide. As a result, his friends disappear, leaving Vishal alone to carry out the mammoth task of cultivating the land.Now Vishal is alone and in order to inherit the full property, he has to stay there in every condition.
