Songs of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan


Comedy filmmaker named David Dhawan directed movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘ was released on October 6th, 1998 and the movie is full of comedy and action. The lead roles in the movie were played by Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda, Raveena Tandon, Ramya Krishna and Paresh Rawal whereas the supporting roles were played by Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Sharat Saxena, Madhuri Dixit, Rakesh Bedi, Sushma Seth, Divya Dutta, Mahavir Shah, Asrani, Avtar Gill, Javed Khan, Tiku Talsania, Kader Khan etc. The movie was produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Sheetal Jain and Kalim Khan and the songs of the movie were rendered by Sudesh Bhonsle, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Amit Kumar, Sapna Mukherjee, Udit Narayan, Anuradha Paudwal and Alka Yagnik. The music of the movie was given by famous Viju Shah whereas the movie was written by Rumi Jaffery. The movie was proved to be a box office average which did a good collection.

The movie is based on the duplicates of two guys and later how they create problems to them in their social as well as personal life. Movie begins with two persons named Arjun Singh (Amitabh Bachchan) and Pyare Mohan (Govinda) who are good friends. Both are Police Inspectors and are placed in a nearby police station. Arjun has a younger sister named Seema (Raveena Tandon) and his mother (Sushma Seth) alongwith whome he lives in his home. Seema has fallen in love with Pyare Mohan and he also likes her whereas Arjun has no female companion. Also his age is too much and some pretty crude comments are often passed about his age. On the other side there is a smuggler named Zorawar Bhai (Paresh Rawal) who involves in making sculptures and smuggles arms and diamonds through them. Once he kills a cop who tries to pry into his private affairs through his henchmen (Sharat Saxena).

But an eyewitness named Madhu (Divya Dutta) sees this killing and runs away to her home where she lives with her friend named Neha (Ramya Krishna). She tells her everything before they kills her. She also tells her about Inspector Pyare Mohan. Therefore Neha calls police station and asks to talk with Pyare Mohan but Arjun attends her pretending himself as Pyare Mohan. Subsequently, Neha falls in love with Arjun Singh. Then everything changes when heir exact look-alikes arrive in Mumbai who incidentally happen to be thieves known as Bade Miyan (Amitabh Bachchan) and Chote Miyan (Govinda). They also clashes with Police Commissioner Shyamlal (Anupam Kher) who mistaken them as Arjun and Pyare Mohan. Later they befriends with Sharafat Ali (Satish Kaushik). Here Zorawar searches for Neha and locates him. He abducts her and then the job of Pyare Mohan and Arjun starts but resulting in hillarious situations.
