A famous Bollywood actor, Bobby Deol was born on January 27th, 1967 at Mumbai in Maharashtra. He was born as Vijay Singh Deol and later accepted Bobby as his screen name. Also he was born to the Sikh family of Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. His father is also a very famous actor of the decade 1960s, 1970s and 1980s in Hindi Cinema. He has an elder brother named Sunny Deol who is also a very famous actor of the same industry. Later his father married with Hema Malini and he has two sisters named Vijeyta and Ajita and two step sisters named Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Another very famous actor, Abhay Deol is his cousin. Bobby Deol has married with Tanya Ahuja and has two sons named Aryaman, who was born in June, 2002 and Dharam, who was born on November 5th, 2004.

Bobby Deol started his acting career in the year 1977 with the movie titled ‘Dharam Veer’. There he played as a child artist, the role of young Dharam. Later he started his career in the year 1995 with the movie ‘Barsaat‘. In the movie, he played as Badal opposite actress Twinkle Khanna but the movie was not so successful. Although he earned Filmfare Best Debut Award for the film. He next starred in a suspence thriller movie titled as ‘Gupt: The Hidden Truth‘ in the year 1997. The movie turned out to be the biggest hit of the year and also he was appreciated for his performance. In the same year, he starred another romantic movie ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’ but it failed to do well at the box office although he starred alongwith beautiful Aishwarya Rai in the movie. Then in 1998, he gave his performance in ‘Kareeb‘ which was a romantic movie. This time he was able to establish himself as the cutest lover boy in Bollywood.

But his that image quickly changed when he starred in an action packed movie ‘Soldier‘ in the same year. Now he gained the image of an action hero as well as the movie was proved to be a big hit which established him in the industry and also to the list of successful actors. Also he has starred alongwith his elder brother, Sunny Deol in his directorial debut movie ‘Dillagi’ in 1999. Later he starred in several movies which are mixture of success and failure such as Badal (2000), Bichhoo (2000), Ajnabee (2001), 23rd March 1931: Shaheed (2002), Humraaz (2002), Bardaasht (2004), Tango Charlie (2005), Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (2007), Naqaab (2007), Heroes (2008), Ek - The Power of One (2008) and Vaada Raha (2009). He was also nominated Filmfare Best Actor Award for ‘Humraaz’.
