Songs of Hum Aapke Hain Koun


Sooraj R. Barjatya directed movie ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun‘ was released under the banner of Rajshri Productions on 5th August, 1994. The movie is full of comedy, romance and drama and the lead roles in the movie were played by Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Renuka Shahane and Mohnish Bahl. Other supporting roles were played by Anupam Kher, Reema Lagoo, Alok Nath, Bindu, Ajit Vachani, Satish Shah, Himani Shivpuri, Sahila Chaddha, Dilip Joshi etc. The movie was produced by Ajit Kumar Barjatya and Kamal Kumar Barjatya. The superhit dialogues and screenplay were given by Sooraj R. Barjatya and the superhit songs were rendered by Lata Mangeshkar, Udit Narayan, Srinivas Pathak, Kumar Sanu, Shailendra Singh, Shraddha Sinha and Balasubramaniam S.P.. The hit music of the movie was given by Vijay Patil. This movie was a superhit at the box office and earned a huge revenue.

This is a romantic movie based on two lovers named Prem (Salman Khan) and Nisha (Madhuri Dixit). Rajesh (Mohnish Bahl) is Prem’s older sibling who looks after the family business after his father named Kailashnath (Alok Nath). Prem is also learning the ways of business by his elder brother. Rajesh’s marriage is arranged with Nisha’s older sister named Pooja Choudhury (Renuka Shahane) to which both are agree. On the fixed day the engagement ceremony is celebrated and later marriage happens. In the engagement ceremony, Prem meets with Nisha who looks him very attractive. Both of them meet second time during the marriage where they fall in love with each other. After a short time, Pooja becomes pregnant and this news brings happiness on everybody’s face. Then Nisha is invited to take care of her sister and to attend the traditional function brfore the child’s birth.

When Prem comes to know about the arrival of Nisha, he becomes pleased and out of joy. She arrives there and soon handles all the household works and become a part of the house. In the meanwhile both Prem and Nisha show their affection towards each other and secretly dream of spending a lifetime together. Then misfortune occurs when Pooja dies after a sudden fall down a flight of stairs. Everyone in the family get stunned. Now Rajesh gets worried for his child as he becomes motherless and it causes his health to deteriorate. For the sake of that child, Nisha’s father asks her to marry Rajesh so that she become the mother of Pooja’s child. Prem and Nisha decide to sacrifice their love for the sake of the family. But before marriage, Rajesh comes to know about the affair between them and decides not to marry her. Later he blesses both of them.
