Songs of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na


Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza starrer romantic flick Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na was directed by Abbas Tyrewala. The movie was produced by Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan in collabortation under the banner of Aamir Khan Production and was released on 4th July, 2008. The other actors who played important roles in the movie were Sugandha Garg, Karan Makhija, Renuka Kunzru, Sohail Khan, Jayant Kripalani, Nirav Mehta, Alishka Varde, Arbaaz Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Prateik Babbar, Anuradha Patel, Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah. This movie was written by well known Abbas Tyrewala. The hit music of the movie was given by the oscar award winner composer A.R.Rehman and the list of singers include the names of Sukhwinder Singh, Rashid Ali, Vasundhara Das, Naresh Iyer, A.R.Rahman, Runa Rizvi and Anupama. The movie earned the Star Screen Best Music Award of the year 2009 to the music director A. R. Rehman. The movie recieved several other awards too.

The movie belongs to the the college friend, Jai ( Imran Khan ) and Aditi ( Genelia D’Souza ). They are the most lovables ones from their college gang which includes Rotlu ( Karan Makhija ), Jiggy ( Nirav Mehta ), Bombs ( Alishka Varde ) and Shaleen ( Sugandha Garg ). Jai Singh Rathore aka Rats is the most non-violent Rajput ever and Aditi is just opposite of it. Everybody thinks that Jai and Aditi are in love with each other and will marry someday. But Jai and Aditi don’t ever think like that. They considers each other as good friends. To stop all these rumours, Jai and Aditi decides to help each other in the task of searching the life partners of each other.

Jai meets a beautiful girl named Meghna at a pub and instantly falls in love with her. Meghna also starts liking Jai when he saves her from the two cowbay who were irritating her at the pub. Soon Jai starts giving more attention to Meghna as compared to Aditi. Aditi is now missing Jai. Meghna introduces Jai to her parents and tells him that they are the most romantic couple of the world. But the fact is that her parenst are always involved in arguments and does not even like to see each other. Meanwhile Aditi gets engaged to her father’s friend’s son named Sushant ( Ayaz Khan ), who is an abusive person. But Aditi commits a mistake and reveals the feelings for Jai to Sushant. On the other hand, Jai is also not feeling comfortable with Meghna and wants to breaks up with her now.
