One of the most famous and prominent Bollywood comedian and dialogue writer named Kader Khan was born on October 22nd, 1937 at Kabul in Afghanistan. He is an ethnic Pashtun and his mother was from Kakar tribe which is one of the famous tribes of pashtuns. He is a famous comedian, script writer, dialogue writer as well as played several villainious roles in many hit movies. He has acted in over three hundred films in Hindi and Urdu languages and has written dialogue for over one thousand Indian films. He has done his Masters in Arabic Language from Osmania University, situated in the city of Hyderabad in early 1980s. It took him 3-4 years to complete his Masters. He has a son named Sarfaraz Khan who has also acted in some films. Currently he lives in Dubai and is planning to open Arabic Language Institute starting from Canada, and then gradually in India, Pakistan, UK and USA.

Kader Khan was teaching in M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Mumbai as a lecturer of Mechanical Engineering during the session 1970 to 1975. Later he was noticed by legendary actor, Dilip Kumar when Kader Khan took part in a play at the annual day function of the college. Dilip Kumar was also present at that function and he became very impressed with his performance and later signed him for his next movie. Kader Khan has made his appearance through his dialogues which he wrote in some of the superhit movies such as Mr. Natwarlal, Amar Akbar Anthony, Agneepath, Muqaddar Ka Sikander, Coolie, Laawaris and Naseeb. He is also credited for the success of Amitabh Bachchan and some other stars of the industry. He became famous for his comedian roles which he played in several hit movies in 1990s alongwith superstar Govinda.

Some of his comedy movies alongwith Govinda such as ‘Hero No 1‘ (1997), Coolie No 1 (1995), Raja Babu (1994), Chhote Sarkar (1996), Banarasi Babu (1997), Dulhe Raja (1998), Rajaji (1999) and many more became hit. His role of Dhanraj in the movie Hero No.1 was also critically acclaimed. Not only this he has also played as a greedy man in the movie ‘Coolie No 1′ whereas his role as K.K. Singhania in ‘Dulhe Raja’ was also appreciated. In the year 1992, he played as Jugnu in the movie ‘Bol Radha Bol’ which was remembered for a long period of time. Some of his recently appeared movies are Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Lucky: No Time for Love (2006) and Family: Ties of Blood (2006). Apart from his acting in movies, he has also appeared in his own comedy television series titled Hasna Mat, which aired on Star Plus.
