Rakesh Roshan directed superhit movie ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai‘ was released under the banner of Film Kraft on January 14th, 2000. The movie is full of action, crime, romance and superhit songs and the lead roles in the movie were played by Hrithik Roshan, Amisha Patel and Anupam Kher whereas the supporting starcasts included Dalip Tahil, Mohnish Bahl, Ashish Vidyarthi, Satish Shah, Farida Jalal, Tanaaz Currim, Payal Malhotra, Rajesh Tandon, Vrajesh Hirjee, Ram Mohan, Shama Deshpande, Kamal Singh. The movie was produced by Rakesh Roshan whereas the songs of the movie was rendered by Lucky Ali, Asha Bhosle, Udit Narayan, Ramya, Kumar Sanu, Preeti Uttam Singh, Babul Supriyo, Alka Yagnik and John Powell. The superhit music of the movie was given by Rajesh Roshan. The story of the movie was written by Rakesh Roshan and the dialogue of the movie was given by Sagar Sarhadi. The movie did good work on the big screen.

The story of the movie is based on a love story. Movie begins with a person named, Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) who lives a poor lifestyle but a good singer. He lives on rent with his younger brother and works in a company. On the other hand Sonia Saxena (Amisha Patel) lives with his father who is a wealthy businessman named, Mr.Saxena (Anupam Kher). Saxena gifts her daughter a beautiful car and there she meets with Rohit. This meeting shows a great impact on Rohit as well as on Sonia. They fall in love with each other after that meeting. Thereafter they meet on a cruise in a party but after drinks some alcohal, they get separated from the rest of their friends and find us on a deserted island. They start to live there and planning for marriage with each other. Both love that place much but few days later her father comes to that island and takes her daughter with him. Now, Sonia’s friend decided to help Rohit to make name so that they can get married easily.

Later, in the movie before reaches his goal, he witnesses of a murder and he is killed by the murderer on the order of Sir Ji (Anupam Kher). After the death of Rohit Sonia gets herself in big depression and his father Mr.Saxena sent her to New zealand to her cousin, so that she can recover herself easily. But in New Zealand, she meets with a person in a party named Raj Chopra (Hrithik Roshan) who looks same as Rohit. Then, she tells him everything to Raj happening with Rohit and Raj tells her, it look likes a murder rather than accident. Raj decided to helps Sonia because he is also in love with her at first look. Now he came to India with Sonia to complete that show which was left by Rohit. He plans to work like Rohit so that his murderer thinks that Rohit is back and they are able to finds the Rohit’s killer. Now, everything works as they planned. And, they find that it was Sonia’s father who is responsible for the death of Rohit.
