Rakesh Roshan directed superhit movie ‘Koi Mil Gaya‘ was released under the banner of Film Kraft on August 8th, 2003. The movie is full of drama, fantacy, romance and magic and the lead roles in the movie were played by Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Rekha and Johnny Lever whereas the supporting starcasts were included Rakesh Roshan, Prem Chopra, Rajat Bedi, Mukesh Rishi, Anuj Pandit, Mohit Makkad, Jai Choksi, Omkar Purohit, Hansika Motwani, Pranita Bishnoi, Beena Banerjee and K.D. Chandran. The movie was produced by Rakesh Roshan, Beena Shah and Rajesh Shah whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Vijay Angre, K.S. Chitra, Kavita Krishnamurti, Shantanu Mukherjee, Udit Narayan, Adnan Sami, Taz, Alka Yagnik etc. The superhit music of the movie was given by Rajesh Roshan. The story and the screenplay of the movie were given by Robin Bhatt and Sachin Bhowmick. The movie did a good work on the big screen.

The story of the movie is based on magic and an alien. Movie begins with a person named Sanjay Mehra (Rakesh Roshan) who has made a computer machine which is capable to connecting with aliens. But, his collegue scientists at the space research center refuse to beleive on him. When he came back to his home with his pregnant wife named Sonia Mehra (Rekha), he glimpses an alien spaceship. He cannot control his car and leading to an accident. Sanjay lost his life in that accident but his wife survives. After sometimes later Sonia gives birth to a child named Rohit Mehra (Hrithik Roshan) but he is abnormal because of that accident. Years passes Rohit has grown up physically but his mind is like a child and he don’t have mature friend. His friends are kid and he is studying in 4th standard. Then, incidently he found a mature friend named Nisha (Preity Zinta) who is mayor’s daughter and anger with Nisha’s friend Raj (Rajat Bedi), a bad person.

Later, in the movie one day Rohit and Nisha find a computer machine in Rohit’s father’s room and started play with it by using the given instruction. But, they both don’t know that they have called the aliens to the earth. Suddenly, his mother came and take her son out of that room. At that evening a spaceship full of aliens visit their town and go back. With the order of mayor of the town, police started inspect and said that one of the alien has left behind. They want to arrest that alien and research on that. When Rohit, Nisha and his friends come to know about this news, they feel guilty about it and decided to find the alien before the police. At that night they go to the forest where the spaceship lands, find the alien and takes him to the Rohit’s home and named him Jadoo. Now, they started to enjoy their life with the help of Jadoo’s magic but after sometime they send him back to the space with their family due to the government interruption.
