Famous comedy film director, David Dhawan directed movie ‘Partner‘ was released under the banner of K Sera Sera on July 20th, 2007. The movie is full of romantic comedy and the lead roles in the movie were played by Salman Khan, Govinda, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif whereas the supporting roles were played by Rajpal Yadav, Ali Haji, Dalip Tahil, Aarti Chhabria, Puneet Issar, Deepshika, Suresh Menon, Atul Parchure, Tiku Talsania etc. The movie was produced by Sanjay Ahluwalia, Sohail Khan and Parag Sanghvi whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala, Labh Jajua, Shantanu Mukherjee, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Shweta Pandit, Sneha Pant etc. The screenplay of the movie was written by David Dhawan and Yunus Sajawal whereas dialogues were given by Sanjay Chel. The movie was a superhit comedy and did a good business at the box office.

The movie is based on romantic comedy and it is the story of two guys named Prem (Salman Khan) and Bhaskar Diwakar Chaudhary (Govinda). Prem lives a wealthy life in Mumbai and is the only male child in the family having six sisters. Later he decides to assist males so that they can find their right partner. Soon he becomes so popular as the ‘Love Guru’ and has numerous males coming to him for assistance. One day he meets Bhaskar who comes to Prem for help in his love life. Actually Bhaskar is in love with his boss named Priya Jaisingh (Katrina Kaif) but afraids to express his feelings in front of her. But Prem refuses to help him out and goes to Thailand. But Bhaskar also follows him and tries to convince him for help. In Thailand, Prem also gets irritate of Bhaskar and at last agrees to help him. Soon both of them return to India and there Prem accidentally meets a young and beautiful woman named Naina Sahani (Lara Dutta).

Naina is a photo journalist who was running from some gangsters lead by Chhota Don (Rajpal Yadav). Prem rescues her from them and falls in love with her. Meanwhile, he starts to teach Bhaskar how to impress his boss. But it goes all wrong and Bhaskar gets nervous in front of her and starts doing non-sense acts. Here Priya likes his non-sense acts and later falls in love with him but does not disclose to him. Soon Prem comes to know that Priya is getting married to someone else as his father’s wish. Both Prem and Bhaskar come to the ceremony and convince her father, who later agrees. After that a young man named Neil Bakshi (Rajat Bedi) comes to Prem with bad intensions and asks Prem to convince a girl for a one night stand which Prem refuses. Later Neil manages to get one night stand with Nikki (Aarti Chhabria) and tells her that Love Guru has given him this advise. Nikki is a friend of Naina who starts hating Prem after she comes to know the involvement of Prem in this. At last all misunderstandings get solved and both couple get married.
