Famous choreographer and actor in South movies, Prabhu Deva directed movie ‘Wanted‘ was released under the banner of S.K. Films Enterprises on September 18th, 2009. The movie is full of action and comedy and the lead roles in movie were played by Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia and Prakash Raj whereas the supporting roles were played by Vinod Khanna, Mahesh Manjrekar, Asseem Merchant, Sayaji Shinde, Govind Namdeo, Manoj Pawha, Mahek Chahal, Sajid Ali etc. The movie was produced by Boney Kapoor whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan, Suzanne D’Mello, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, Amrita Kak and Kamaal Khan. The music of the movie was given by famous duo Sajid Ali and Wajid Ali whereas the story of the movie was written by Puri Jagannadh. The movie is still running in the theatres and continues to collect huge revenue.

The movie is based on the crime life in the city of Mumbai. In the begining of the movie, Radhe (Salman Khan) is a hard-core gangster who always does whatever he wants and lives his life according to himself. He does not care about the emotions of other people. He has all the qualities of a gangster as he is skilled in sharp shooting and a fearless man. He has three other friends who accompany him but later he started to work for Golden (Aseem Merchant) who is the dreaded Mafia leader. In the process he makes more enemies of him. Later one day Radhe meets with gorgeous and attractive girl named Jhanvi (Ayesha Takia) who works in a call centre. Soon he falls in love with her. On the other hand, a corrupt Police Inspector named Talpade (Mahesh Manjrekar) gets his eyes on Jhanvi when he meets her on the way.

Later Jhanvi also developes a soft corner for Radhe in her heart and one day she calls him to meet her. They do meet but are interrupted by firing on Radhe from other gang members. Then Jhanvi comes to know that Radhe is a dreaded gangster whome she has fallen in love with. She also witnesses the creulity and gets very upset and leaves Radhe. On the other hand, an efficient and honest guy named Ashraf Khan (Govind Namdeo) is appointed in Mumbai as the Commissioner. He quickly starts his actions and several local gangsters are put in the jail. He also captures Gani Bhai from his place and keeps him on an isolated island from where he cannot escapes. As a result his daughter is abducted by Gani’s goons and later sexually molested by them. Ashraf gets devastated when he comes to know about his daughter. Later Gani kills Radhe’s father and also comes to know that Radhe is actually an IPS Officer, Rajveer Shekhawat who is undercover and has decided to kill Gani.
