Rakesh Roshan directed movie ‘Karan Arjun‘ was released under the banner of Film Kraft on January 13th, 1995. The movie is full of action, comedy, romance and fantasy and the lead roles in the movie were played by Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Arjun, Amrish Puri, Kajol, Rakhee Gulzar and Mamta Kulkarni whereas the supporting starcasts were included Kishore Anand Bhanushali, Suresh Chatwal, Salim Khan Ding-Dong, John Gabriel, Jack Gaud, Dinesh Hingoo, Kiron Kher, Raj Kishore, Johnny Lever, Anil Nagreth, Gavin Packard, Ranjeet, Ghanshyam Rohera, Ashok Saraf, Aashif Sheikh and Babbanlal Yadav. The movie was produced by Rakesh Roshan whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Mohammed Aziz, Sudesh Bhonsle, Suresh Kathuria, Lata Mangeskar, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Sadhana Sargam, A.N. Tagore and Alka Yagnik. The superhit music of the movie was given by Rajesh Roshan. The story of the movie was written by Sachin Bhowmick and Ravi Kapoor. The movie did good work on the big screen.

The story of the movie is based on beleif, betrayal and love. Movie begins with a happy family consisting of Karan (Salman Khan), Arjun (Shahrukh Khan) and their mother Durga Singh (Rakhee Gulzar). They live a happy life until they visit their grandfather at his last times of his life. They visit their first time in past twenty years. But, his grandfather is killed by Thakur Durjan Singh (Amrish Puri). He killed Karan and Arjun infront of their mother for the entire wealth of the royal’s family. He leaves Durga Singh on the beleif that he will died on her own after the death of their sons. But, she refuse to accept that their son are killed by Thakur Durjan Singh and goes to the temple of hindu goddess to pray on the beleif that her son will be back for her someday and will take revenge from Thakur Durjan Singh for her humiliation.

Later, in the movie after seventeen years later, the two young boys comes to the village named Ajay (Salman Khan) and Vijay (Shahrukh Khan). They looks like Karan and Arjun and the villagers thinks that Durga is right. Soon Vijay remembers all the things after the meeting with his mother because he used to see that story in his dreams, which tells to him by his mother. But, Ajay refuse to believe on this story by telling that he does not believe on rebirth and god. Days passes, and one day Ajay also remind everything happen to them by an same attack which is happen to them seventeen years before from Shamsher Singh (Jack Gaud) and Nahar Singh (Arjun). Now, Both Ajay and Vijay kills Thakur Durjan Singh as a revenge of Karan and Arjun and start to live their life happily with his mother and wives in the village.
