Very famous mysterious horror movie ‘Raaz‘ was directed by one of the famous Bhatt brothers, Vikram Bhatt. The movie was released under the banner of Bhatt Productions on March 12th, 2002. The movie is full of horror, mystery, fantasy, romance and thriller whereas the lead roles in the movie were played by Dino Morea, Bipasha Basu, Malini Sharma, Shruti Ulfat whereas the supporting starcast include Anang Desai, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Ali Asghar, Mink Singh, Masood Akhtar, Pratima Kazmi, D.Siddharth, Neha Murli, Ishwar Patel, Kiran Randhawa, Ashutosh Rana etc. The movie was produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt and Kumar S.Taurani whereas the songs of the movie were rendered by Abhijeet, Vijay Angre, Bali Brahmabhatt, Jolly Mukherjee, Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik and the music was given by Raju Rao, Shravan Rathod, Nadeem Saifi. The story of the movie was written by Mahesh Bhatt and the dialogue was given by Girish Dhamija.

The movie is based on superstition. Movie begins with a couple Aditya Dhanraj (Dino Morea) and Sanjana Dhanraj (Bipasha Basu). Sanjana Dhanraj was not happy with his husband and wanted divorce from him because she feels that her husband Aditya (Dino Morea) a wealthy businessman, neglected her and she started to take so many sleeping pills due to which she had an car accident. After the accident, her husband takes her to Ooty to give a last chance to his crumbling marriage, she can recover from that ill condition with the changed environment and he wants to prove himself a good husband as well. Now, the story of the movie takes u turn when Sanjana Dhanraj started to hear screams of a girl. She said about the screaming of a girl to her husband but he can’t beleive on that and said to her this is the result of the extra dose of sleeping pills nothing else even he knows the reality that this screaming is of that girl who died due to him when he first came to Ooty.

Later, in the movie there are lots of incidence will happen with Sanjana Dhanraj but her husband Aditya Dhanraj thinks that his wife has gone mad and beleives in superstitions. But Sanjana Dhanraj and her friend, Priya consult from an expert named Professor Agni Swaroop (Ashutosh Rana) about the problems and found that an unknown bad power was trying to said something to Sanjana Dhanraj and wanted to kill her husband. As time progresses the bad power becomes more dangerous and at that time Sanjana Dhanraj realizes that her husband definately hiding some secret from her and if she can late to find out that secret of her husband life, she can loose her husband and even herself as well. Then, Sanjana Dhanraj and her friend Priya met Professor Agni Swaroop and asked for their help. At first he refuses her because of his husband but later on he gets ready to help her and with the help of the Professor Agni Swaroop and lots of magical tricks Sanjana Dhanraj managed to save herself and her husband’s life.
